Welcome to Norfolk County Registry of Deeds ONLINE RESEARCH.  At this site we give the public full access to the same records available to anyone using the computer search screens at the Registry of Deeds building in Dedham, Massachusetts.  We have made available to you the following: Scanned documents and indices are available online. Subscribers may print document images using prepaid accounts. Registry land records back to the founding of Norfolk County in 1793 are available for online viewing. The Registry's online grantor/grantee index is available from 1900 forward and continues to expand to include earlier records. Indices from 1793 to 1955 have been scanned into the data base in their original form. You may search by name and check the original index pages. Land Court records from the inception of the Land Court system in 1900 are scanned and available online. The Land Court online owner's index is complete, but unverified, and its grantor/grantee index is available from September 3, 1985 to the present. Certificates of Title prior to October 23, 2002 have been scanned, and since then they have been databased. * The Land Court information provided on this site may not reflect the actual status of a Land Court property title. Reference should be made to the physical certificate(s) registered in the Norfolk Land Court to verify all activity for a particular title. These Land Court listings are not covered by MGL c. 185 s. 46.
